Hi readers, do you have a hard time finding free Chinese learning resource online to improve your Chinese? You have come to the right place.
I have been making Chinese podcast on my end in the aim to help more Chinese language learners to improve your listening, speaking, reading and writing ability. So far, I have made three podcasts and will keep updating them on a regular basis.
What Are the Features of the Podcast?
1. The podcast lasts for 2-5 minutes so you will not feel too overwhelmed.
2. It is all done in Mandarin Chinese with very little help of English translation, so you will be totally exposed to Chinese speaking
2. The podcast comes with transcripts, vocabulary and exercise sheet so you can review and practice them afterwards.
My Target Listeners
As the podcast will be all in Chinese without the help of English translation, my target listener will ideally be the upper level of beginners to intermediate learners.
What Will the Content Be?
I usually choose the topics that I find interesting or controversial. Of course, if you are interested in certain topics, feel free to leave a comment below.
So far, my first episode is Introduction, briefly talking about how I would like to do with my podcast and what’s included.
My second episode is about the advantages and disadvantages of buying and renting a house. I find it a very difficult choice to make in life, so I make a quick summary on it.
My third episode is about the right to keep and bear arms. I will present viewpoints of two sides of supporting and opposing this right.
In my latest episode, I would like to briefly talk about Universal Basic Income or UBI in Chinese. Hope this episode makes you have a better understanding of this concept or even better introduce you a brand new concept if you have not heard it before.
Before We Go,
I hope this will help you on your journey of learning Chinese and the best thing is IT IS FREE. Once again, If you are interested in certain topic or have some suggestions for me to make my podcasts better, feel free to leave a comment on this post or on my YouTube channel.
